I grew up and went to school on the other side of the Berwyn mountains in Bala. After completing my medical degree at the University of London I trained as a GP in Cardiff. Following a year spent working as a doctor in Australia I joined Caereinion Medical practice as a GP partner in 1999 and have been here since (other than a sabbatical year spent working in Western Australia.)
I have an interest in diabetes, ultrasound and medical education. Outside work my interests include rugby, mountaineering, travel and building/diy. I am married and have 3 children.
